A Legacy of Education
Late Shri P.C. Kharia was a visionary educationist and philanthropist. In 2006, he founded the Shri Prabhat Chandra Research and Educational Society in Indore, which went on to establish the Modern Group of Institutions (MGI) in 2007.
His mission was clear — to provide world-class education in pharmacy, management, commerce, and education, while instilling strong ethical values in students. He believed education should not just impart knowledge, but also shape responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.
Contributions & Achievements
Under his leadership, MGI became one of the leading education groups in Madhya Pradesh, recognized by AICTE (New Delhi) and PCI, and affiliated with RGPV and DAVV.
He initiated student welfare programs such as hostel and book bank facilities, established advanced research centers, and introduced innovative initiatives like MIS (Mid Brain Activation) in 2013 for child development.
His Vision
Shri Kharia’s vision continues to inspire Modern Group of Institutions. He believed in holistic education — combining academic rigor with values of integrity, innovation, and social responsibility.
"Education is not just about degrees, but about building character and shaping futures."
